As a small independent business we stand by our choice to not participate in Black Friday. Our pieces are not seasonal, they are timeless, quality pieces that will surpass trends and last a lifetime.

The time and thought that goes into choosing each item, making sure it’s special enough to be part of our collection is something that is so important to us. It means that the price of each piece has also been carefully thought out and we make a conscious effort to make our pieces as affordable as possible. Therefore when asked if we can offer a discount this puts us in a difficult position as we offer honest pricing all year round.

This year more than ever, we stand in solidarity with other small businesses. Black Friday is one of the most consumer driven days of the year with 7.4 billion items bought in one day and 40% of these items ending up in landfill within 12 months. The sad thing is prices are usually massively inflated for the brands to then offer these huge discounts.

Today we must consider the negative impact this day will have on our planet. We encourage you to buy less, but buy better.
